Exchanges Drain 2,599 BTC in a Day as Asia Trading Volume Craters 87%

Bitcoin keeps leaving the building. Exchanges tracked by tokenpost.com shed roughly 2,599 BTC over the day, with weekly outflows hitting 9,106 BTC and monthly outflows reaching 30,440 BTC, as of November 8. Total balances across those platforms sat near 2,581,240 BTC.

Coinbase Pro is still the biggest vault in the room with about 871,100 BTC, but it leaked 963.48 BTC on the day and 1,412 BTC over the week. Binance holds roughly 666,887 BTC after daily net outflows of 376.42 BTC and weekly outflows of 6,799 BTC. Bitfinex, third-largest at about 429,236 BTC, let 62.77 BTC slip out daily and 1,267 BTC over the week.

Not everyone bled. Bybit pulled in the most coins with 328.20 BTC of daily net inflows, Gate followed at 314.05 BTC and KuCoin added 20.97 BTC. On the other side, OKX led the exits at 1,454 BTC, ahead of Coinbase Pro and Binance.

The volume picture is uglier. Binance's BTCUSDT pair did $89.92 million in the Asian session on November 7, $227.63 million in Europe and $111.73 million in the US. A day earlier those sessions pulled $670.37 million, $1.98 billion and $149.58 million respectively — meaning Asia shrank about 87%, Europe about 89% and the US about 25%.

Europe hung on as the heaviest trading window at $227.63 million, with the US next and Asia trailing behind. Thinner sessions and shrinking exchange reserves together suggest traders are sitting on their hands rather than shuffling coins around the order books.

For now, the coins are heading for cold storage or private wallets while spot activity cools across every time zone. Whether that turns into fresh buying pressure or just a quieter market depends on who comes back to the books first.
