Trump Posts a 'VETO' Hat After Democrats Take the House and Senate

President Trump posted a picture of a hat reading **VETO** on Friday, a pointed reaction to Democrats winning both chambers of Congress, according to a post from the @KobeissiLetter account on X.

The image lands right where Trump said it would. He had previously warned that he would become **Mr. Veto** if Democrats took the midterm elections — and now the hat is doing the talking.

Veto power is the president's formal tool for rejecting legislation passed by Congress, and it is the central piece of leverage he retains if the opposing party controls both the House and the Senate.

The post was brief, with no accompanying statement beyond the picture. No details were offered about what legislation the president might target, or when.

The @KobeissiLetter account flagged the image as a breaking development, calling attention to the shift in Washington's balance of power as it crossed the wire.
