Long Events Opens a Pay-Per-Query Catalog So AI Agents Can Untangle Conference Chaos
Long Events, a live data platform from the Long Community Alliance and powered by Belong, is opening a standardized event catalog to software through a REST API and 16 MCP tools. Agents can pull venues, artists and conference-week schedules for a fraction of a cent per request, settled in crypto on Base and BNB Chain.
Scattered ticketing pages, clashing community calendars and mismatched time formats have long been a tax on AI assistants, which burn tokens just reconciling whether two listings describe the same party. Long Events says it has the fix: a live data platform from the Long Community Alliance, powered by Belong, that dedupes those records and republishes them as one standardized catalog built for software rather than humans.
Developers reach it two ways, according to Belong: a REST API and 16 Model Context Protocol tools. A travel app hunting for concerts near a hotel, or a discovery tool mapping city nightlife, can query by city name or geographic coordinates across parties, festivals, concerts, conference weeks and side events. Results come back structured for events, venues, organizers and artists, with schedules, locations, source URLs and registration links where they exist.
The messiest problem the platform targets is conference sprawl. When a big gathering lands, independent organizers scatter dozens of side events across separate websites outside the main program, and Long Events bundles those into single conference or festival weeks. That means an assistant heading into Devcon, Bitcoin Amsterdam or Breakpoint can grab an entire week's schedule in one request.
Among those side listings is Crypto After Hours: Penthouse, a private Web3 gathering hosted by Alpha Tree in Mumbai on November 7, 2026, with Belong.net as technology partner.
The payment model is deliberately small. Individual requests cost $0.005 and settle in USDC on Base — no account, no API keys, no recurring subscription — so an AI agent can buy data inside a budget a user already authorized. Teams that prefer bulk can grab 10-call bundles on BNB Chain using LONG, Tether (USDT), USDC or USD1; a 20% promotional discount brings LONG payments down to a $0.04 equivalent from $0.05, running through March 31, 2027.
The catalog is listed in the official MCP registry and Coinbase's x402 Bazaar, backed by public documentation, published pricing and OpenAPI schemas, plus free MCP tool discovery. Scale-wise, Belong says it spans 400 cities in 118 countries, with 500,000 past and upcoming events, 300 event weeks, 180,000 venues and 80,000 artists on the index. Depth still varies city to city, so the team plans to widen geographic coverage, sharpen data freshness and quality, add more conference-week programs and make integration easier for developers and agent builders.
