A wallet tied to the Binance hacker just moved 8,567 SOL into Privacy Cash, a privacy mixer, according to onchain tracking firm Onchain Lens. The stash is worth roughly $798,000 at the time of the transfer. The point of the deposit, per Onchain Lens: laundering stolen funds.

Mixers like Privacy Cash exist to scramble the trail between a wallet and wherever the coins end up. That's exactly what makes them a favorite pit stop for stolen crypto — and exactly why blockchain sleuths pounce when a flagged address walks into one.

The Binance hack remains one of the largest exchange breaches ever, and the wallet linked to it has kept moving for years. Onchain analysts have followed every hop, which means the Privacy Cash deposit was spotted almost in real time.
